KFCRI conducted “3rd Associate at Arbitration Practice (AAP-KFCRI)” course on 15.09.2019 in collaboration with SICCI Centre for ADR.

 

KFCRI under the aegis of Kovise Foundation conducted a one-day training programme on the basic principles of the particular ADR mechanism. This shall be the mandatory training course for accrediting associates at arbitration practice. It was a one-day training course conducted on 15.09.2019 at the SICCI centre for ADR. KFCRI trained the prospective undergraduate students, lawyers, practitioners and professionals from various sectors with the basic principles underlying ADR mechanism and accredited them as associates at arbitration practice in KFCRI. This project enhanced immensely the outlook of ADR mechanism. The event saw the presence of 11 participants from diversified fields. The training for the participants was conducted on five sessions:

  • Session A - Arbitration and ADR
  • Session B - Understanding and Interpretation of Arbitration Agreement
  • Session C - Briefing of Laws on Arbitration
  • Session D - Perspective on Procedure
  • Session E - Costs 

Mr. InbavijayanVeeraraghavan an International Arbitrator and advisor of KFCRI trained the prospective undergraduate students, lawyers, practitioners and professionals from various sectors with the basic principles underlying ADR mechanism. After the completion of the five sessions, an examination was conducted to assess the participants’ eligibility for accreditation. At the end of the training session, all the participants were awarded with certificate of participation. The accredited participants will be enrolled as associate members of KFCRI from the following month.
