Anant is a practicing litigation and alternative disputes resolution lawyer with over 13 years’ experience in India and Singapore. Anant focuses on corporate and commercial litigations and arbitrations. He is predominantly involved in corporate insolvency, restructuring of companies, shareholder litigations and inter-se management disputes at the National Company Law Tribunal.
Anant has arbitration experience in ad hoc commercial arbitrations and has acted as Counselas well as Arbitrator in several casesinvolving contractual, commercial, infrastructure, engineering and joint venture disputes. Anant is also an active mediation counsel and has advised parties in complex shareholder disputes in mediation.

Anant has been a Tutor at CIARB India; is a speaker at Conferences and Sessions organized by the Institute of Companies Secretaries of India and private workshops. Anant is also a pro-active speaker/trainer on company law and ADR and has delivered lectures at events of ICSI, courses of CIARB, India; ADR training at Myanmar & Bangladesh; World Mediation Organization Conference event at Bangkok
Anant has been awarded the prestigious “Rising Star” Award in March 2016 by Legal Era Magazine at Mumbai for his outstanding work in arbitration, mediation and litigation
Anant read Economics (B.A.Economics) and graduated as a gold medalist from Loyola College, Chennai, India. He read law at Chennai (Bachelors Degree in law) and was admitted as an Advocate in the Indian Bar in 2004. With a focus in international business, he did a Masters degree in Foreign Trade (M.F.T) in India before graduating from National University of Singapore (NUS) with an LLM degree in 2006.
